It’s easy to think that individual luck isn’t really a thing. We are not followed around by an invisible “luck cloud” that determines whether or not good things happen to us on a given day, or at least there is no science to support this. But I think we all have a sense of whether we’re lucky or unlucky, and a combination of many factors make us think that either a 10% drop is something you’ll have no trouble getting or it’s a dream that will never arrive no matter how many shots you get.
Personally, I do not consider myself lucky in general, and I try to make plans and builds that rely upon minimal luck and maximum reliability. But I also know that there are players out there who will instead rely on a degree of luck, potentially even just rigging everything on a 10% chance for a build to insta-kill anything regardless of a 90% shot to do nothing. So how reliable is your luck in MMORPGs?
