Sure, we can stay here.

Who doesn’t love a good party now and then? Well, maybe you don’t if you’re a grouch hermit who would rattle a stick at kids who dare cross your lawn — but even that is a party if you look at it sideways! And when it comes to MMOs, there are plenty of parties to be had if you’re in the mood for one.

Of course, there are two broad categories of celebrations: Ones thrown by the developers as part of an event, and ones thrown by other players. So which do you find more engaging? Do you like the dev parties for their associated systems and rewards, or do you like the human touch of player ingenuity and bartending?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
