Don’t expect a release date for Terraria’s next big content patch this month, despite the devs acknowledging that players are “desperately” desiring information on Patch 1.4.5. Instead, they ask fans to “hang in there with us a little while longer” while they narrow down to a date that they can share with confidence.

Instead of that date, ReLogic’s recent State of the Game report shared how Patch 1.4.5 will allow players to harvest the “humble slime” to create a useful whip and spear early on in the game. The team’s also working on a nifty multi-touch feature for mobile that makes it “much easier to perform actions simultaneously.”

The team said that it’s working hard to get through as many player-submitted tickets as quickly as possible: “Our rate of working through these has accelerated noticeably. There is still a good ways to go, but we are very pleased with the pace.”
