It’s time for some more DLC in the revivified Defiance once again, and just like the Castithan race DLC release from last month, this week brings back the Arkbreaker DLC absolutely free. So it’s literally downloadable content, not pay-for downloadable content, or PFDLC, which is a more accurate but also more unwieldy acronym.

This DLC brings quite a bit to the table, including new main story and side missions, three additional pursuits, over 50 weapon variants, and perhaps most importantly the Ark Spike Battery item that lets players summon powerful Arkfalls provided the DLC’s main story missions are completed.

In addition to the new content additions, the DLC’s release has also brought on the Hot Summer event until July 30th, two more pursuits, and four more sieges for players to take on. Overall there’s quite a bit happening with this release, so now seems as good a time as any to get in there and get shootin’.
