Mark your calendars, Waveheads! The next content update for the multiplayer gacha RPG Wuthering Waves known as Lightly We Toss the Crown has a calendar release date of Thursday, June 12th. Are fans of this game called Waveheads? Eh, who knows.

This upcoming patch brings players to the region of Septimont, described as a city of warriors where heroes are worshipped over gods, and introduces two chapters in the game’s main story. Naturally there’s new characters to roll for as well in the form of Cartethyia, a sword-wielder who has two combat modes; and Lupa, who nimbly uses a naginata-esque broadblade weapon in battle.

On top of the story and character content, the new patch will offer up new echoes, new challenge instances, a variety of quality-of-life features including an in-game guide to help players build their characters for team play, and a lengthy list of events, login rewards, and free gifties.
