Abyss of Dungeons, which readers might remember as the spiffing new name given to Dark and Darker Mobile that soft launched to North America in February, is gearing up for its next pre-season update, which appears to mostly be about ensuring new arrivals have a good time. And that makes sense since the game is expanding into Brazil, Mexico, Thailand, and Indonesia then as well.
Among the updates lined up for this next patch is a co-op mode that lets players work as allies and not enemies through normal to nightmare difficulty dungeons, a new adventurer’s safeguard feature that stops newly-minted players from dropping their equipped gear on death should they choose to play in PvPvE mode, and a new inferno difficulty level that’s split from hell difficulty aimed at both casual and hardcore players.
Krafton and Bluehole promise to share more updates soon™ as the next patch inches near, but for now there’s more to look forward to as this pocket-sized dungeon delver continues its global rollout.
