It’s kind of crazy to realize that it’s taken until 2025 for Aion to produce an action mage class, but that’s exactly what it’s (finally) getting with next week’s 4.0 update.

Play AION for freeThe Luminess class arrives on Tuesday, June 18th with a slew of instant-cast spells, the ability to buff friends, and combos which can debuff enemies. It should be noted that the Luminess can only be female and is limited to cloth armor.

Aion 4.0 also will raise the level cap to 65, unveil the Tiamaranta Mesa endgame battlefield zone (with a trio of raids), and add a pair of brand-new dungeons. The Fortress of Determination is described as a “choose-your-own-adventure” instance with three rulesets, while the Labyrinth of Reunion tosses rotating seasonal bosses at players.
