When it comes to addressing its burgeoning crafting system, Pax Dei isn’t taking a little screwdriver here or some WD-40 there to tune up the feature. Nay, this sandbox MMO has grabbed the biggest sledgehammer it could find and is swinging away right in front of our eyes.
“With the arrival of Path of the Adventurer, we’re not just adding new recipes or tweaking numbers — we’re rethinking the entire structure and flow of crafting to make it more engaging, intuitive, and meaningful at every tier,” the devs announced on Discord.
The developers went on to say that they’ve identified four key areas to improve crafting: easier onboarding, real complexity without confusion, smarter dependencies, and better pacing. “We want crafting to be more about the world and less about waiting at a bench,” they said.
This revamped crafting system is being done in part to support the improved combat system, with crafted gear supporting certain combat roles. Verse 3 Path of the Adventure is due out in June.
