Usually, when an MMORPG adds a new challenge, it also adds rewards to go along with it. Eterspire has decided to buck that tradition with the addition of the new Bastion Challenge that has arrived with the most recent patch. Players can earn Bastion Points for taking on the waves and waves of difficult enemies, lasting as long as possible, and they can spend those points on… nothing. That’s not to say there will not be rewards, but at this poin,t we don’t know what they will be. New armor? New weapons? Six dollars and a ham sandwich? There’s really no way to know just yet.

Of course, hopefully the points you bank up will eventually be useful, but the latest patch also adds a new quest and expanded clothing options, so there are things to do other than just take on a challenge which may or may not have rewards you will long for later. At least you can plan for the future!
