We’re just a few sleeps away from Absolution, the fourth and final leg of Guild Wars 2’s Janthir Wilds expansion, and now, ArenaNet is dropping some new videos, the first of which showcases a few animated clips from Bava Nisos. Bava Nisos, fans might recall, is the mountain-based ruin of an ancient mursaat city, long abandoned and super creepy in a painterly, sickly way.
“Once a monument to mursaat victory, Bava Nisos was built into the side of a great mountain—its sprawling halls and twisting passages branch in every direction. However, the once-opulent city is now crumbling with decay.”

The team also posted a brief trailer for the new legendary backpack, which sounds very dumb but is actually one of the more unique items in the game. Ridable dragon backpack!
“Like previous legendary backpacks, crafting Orrax Manifested will unlock a matching glider as well,” ArenaNet says. “However, this time, Orrax is not content simply staying on your back and manifests directly to better help you conquer the skies of this fascinating world. And both the backpack and the glider can be dyed!
Absolution rolls out on June 3rd along with like 50 other things in the MMO world. Next week gonna be wild.
