The first look at Dungeons and Dragons Online’s Return to Ravenloft expansion is on the test servers this week, and fans immediately flocked to the Lamannia preview shard to check out the vampiric Dhampir race.

Many are half-Vampires one way or another, and have a life-draining bite.” This marks the first playable “undead” race in DDO, and the studio posted the patch notes for the Dhampir on the forums.

Early reports from testing report a mixed bag with the Dhampir, with testers noting some useless abilities, issues with the race’s signature Bite ability, and difficulties with undead healing. However, there’s no doubt that this will be a popular pick even so, because vampires.
