ARK: Survival Ascended is not 10 years old; it released in 2023. However, the wider ARK survivalbox series is 10 years old, which is more than reason enough for ASA to mark the occasion. Particularly since this remaster usurped the original.

The party runs between now and June 17th with ramped up earning for XP across multiple modes, a party dodo, several new celebratory skins, new emotes, plenty of new event chibis, and a whole lot of cake items like a buildable cake and slices that improve harvesting, XP, taming, and breeding. You read that right, there’s breeding cake slices to be had. Yummers.

Meanwhile the update that launches the party also brings an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.5, the ability to install and uninstall DLC maps individually, a big ol’ pile of new building materials including thatch and adobe, and the addition of the Lemnokis island for the Astraeos map.
