Back in May, players of Cryptic’s old MMORPGs jacked their grumpiness levels up to 11 at the news that their games’ new operators at DECA Games planned to do away with the long-running game forums in favor of new official Discords. These Discords would naturally compete with and probably supersede existing fan-run chat servers, too.

“After many years of community discussion on the forums, we’ve made the decision to migrate our resources to where most players are now actively communicating,” the Star Trek Online community manager wrote last month, saying the company would be “migrating” from the forums this summer.

Well, DECA has now begun launching those servers. They are:

• Star Trek Online
• Champions Online
• Neverwinter

Note that the Neverwinter announcement specifies that the forums are closing tomorrow, June 26th, so if there’s anything you need, best save it now.
