It’s another pretty busy week in the worlds of Black Desert as all three versions of the sandbox are introducing new things for players to get busy with. Or in the case of BDO Console, readying to introduce new things.
We’ll start with the console version, as next Thursday, June 26th, will officially see the game release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S. The announcement message promises to do everything possible to make the transition smooth while also reminding fans that the Xbox One and PS4 versions will deprecate. It also confirms that the Deadeye class and Ulukita region will launch to console players on July 10th.
Over on PC, there’s a new solo boss in the Black Shrine: the challenging yet fluffy-looking Gumiho, which sits at Calamity levels 8-10. Those who successfully take down this floof monster will earn themselves a variety of weekly rewards. The week’s patch also features better energy burn buffs from the Black Spirit Exchange, some more ways to earn high-end materials, a new horse-drawn siege cannon to conquest wars, and a few other general fixes and tweaks.
Finally over on BDO Mobile, there’s a big ol’ “expedition event’ going on that offers GM quizzes, special GM missions, and weekend hot time boosts over the course of the next three weeks. Events will be limited to several other regions in the game, hence the “exploration” part of the event, so fans of the pocket sandbox will likely want to mark the whens and wheres; otherwise this patch features more class tweaks, increases to the amounts of Noble Tears of the Goddess that can be earned in certain instances, and some error fixes.
