The month of June is Pride Month, and that means celebrations, support, and acknowledgment of LGBTQIA+ life and matters is back at the forefront where it belongs, particularly with the latest news developments coming out of the US. We’ve found just a few such events being heralded by MMORPG developers and members of their community; here’s our list so far.

  • We’ll start with EverQuest and EverQuest II, which are both bringing back new and previous Pride Month pets.
  • Warframe is heralding several events like official and community streams, multiple free Pride items available to get until June 30th, and fundraising for the non-profit org Rainbow Railroad, which has started with the studio’s own $20,000 CAD donation.
  • Tyria Pride 2025 is back in Guild Wars 2 on June 28th and 29th on both NA and EU servers. The community-run event invites players to join in a Pride parade, hang out, and help donate to Rainbow Railroad.
  • Another community event is happening in Final Fantasy XIV as well in the form of Primal Pride on Saturday, June 14th. Players can head to the Leviathan server on the Primal data center (if possible) and join in on a Pride parade that walks through several in-game cities, enter in giveaways, and enjoy an after party. Fundraising is also happening to benefit Lambda Legal.
  • Sea of Thieves has put out its Pride flag cosmetic for this year; it’ll cost 1969 in-game gold.
  • Finally, Hearthstone has done the bare minimum and paid lip service to Pride and inclusivity in a tweet. Just do yourself a favor and don’t read the replies.
