Following a state of the game and roadmap earlier this month in which the Jagex team said that it wasn’t going anywhere, survival sandbox RuneScape Dragonwilds produced a community question-and-answer video with the game’s executive producer to go over future specifics.
Of greatest interest to players is the news that the upcoming Fellhollow patch will double the world’s map size. Other projects include improving the boss encounters, expanding the building system, adding more story content, investigating a possible pet system, and exploring the possibility of allowing for player mods.
The team also addressed the survival mechanics that require players to keep their characters well-fed and -watered. An option is forthcoming for players to adjust these mechanisms to make the game more “cozy” if desired.
Once again, RuneScape Dragonwilds stressed that it’s not going to abandon the game and that the full confidence of Jagex stands behind it. Something something T-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.
